Every person, firm, company, corporation or association now
or hereafter engaged in the business of furnishing telephone/telecommunication
service in the City of Appleton City, Missouri, shall pay the said
City as an annual license tax five percent (5%) of the gross receipts
derived from the furnishing of such service within said City.
