A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Shrewsbury, being marked and designated as the 2006 Edition of the International Mechanical Code as published by International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code of the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties and terms of the said International Mechanical Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 500.090 of this Article.

A. 
The "International Mechanical Code" as adopted in Section 500.080 is hereby revised as follows:
1. 
IMC Section 101.1. Insert: City of Shrewsbury.
2. 
IMC Section 106.5.2. Insert: City Code Section 500.020(8).
3. 
IMC Section 106.5.3 is hereby deleted.
4. 
IMC Section 108.4. Insert: (Misdemeanor, $500.00, 90 days).
5. 
IMC Section 108.5. Insert: ($100.00 not to exceed more than $500.00). (Insert in two locations)
Any person violating any of the provisions of this Article or the Code adopted in this Article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned in the City or County Jail for a period of not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
