A. 
Adoption. A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Knob Noster, being marked and designated as the International Zoning Code, 2006 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Zoning Code of the City of Knob Noster in the State of Missouri for regulating and governing the development, erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, movement, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, use, height, area and maintenance of all buildings, structures and lots in the City of Knob Noster; providing for the issuance of permits, including conditional use permits, and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Zoning Code on file in the office of the City of Knob Noster are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (C) of this Section.
B. 
Five hundred dollars ($500.00) per day per offense.
C. 
Amendments. The following Sections are hereby revised:

Section 1008.2.1. Temporary development and construction sign, single-family residential, 8 ft. in height 20 sq. ft. in area, multi-family residential 8 ft., 20 sq. ft. in area, non-residential 8 ft. in height, 20 sq. ft. in area, commercial or industrial projects 10 ft. in height 200 sq. ft. in area.
Section 1008.2.3. Special promotion and grand opening signs cannot exceed 20 sq. ft. in any single/multi-family residential district, 200 sq. ft. in commercial district.
Section 1008.2.5. Portable signs cannot exceed 10 ft. in height nor area in excess of 200 sq. ft.
Section 1008.2.6. Political signs shall not exceed 8 ft. in height nor 20 sq. ft. in area.
Section 1008.3.3. Projecting signs are permitted 1 sign on any street frontage with public entrance limited in height and area to 1 sq. ft. to 2 sq. ft. per each lineal ft. of bldg. frontage not to exceed 100 sq. ft. No sign shall extend vertically above the highest point of the bldg. facade upon which it's mounted by more than 25% of the height of the bldg. Such signs shall not extend over a public sidewalk €% of the width of the sidewalk. Signs shall maintain a clear vertical distance above any public sidewalk a minimum 8 ft.
Section 1008.3.4. Under canopy signs shall be limited no more 1 sign per public entrance limited 8 sq. ft./clear vertical distance of 8 ft.
Section 1008.3.5. Roof signs are permitted in commercial/industrial districts only. Such signs shall be limited to a height above the roof line of the elevation parallel to the sign face of no more than 25% of the height of the roof line in commercial districts and 50% in industrial districts.
Any firm, association, person, partnership or corporation, or any agent thereof, who violates any provisions of this Article shall be guilty of an ordinance violation, upon the conviction of which shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned for not more than twenty (20) days, or both. Each day during which such violation shall continue to exist is a separate offense.
