In accordance with the provisions of Section 305.040 (C — D) and when signs or other appropriate devices, marks or lines upon the surface of the roadway are placed giving notice thereof, the following areas shall be designated Crosswalks or Safety Zones and it shall be unlawful for any driver of any vehicle to enter such Crosswalk or Safety Zone while a pedestrian is in such Crosswalk or Safety Zone.
