A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the Central Keystone Council of Governments, 1610 Industrial Boulevard, Suite 400A, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, being marked and designated as the "International Building Code," as published by the International Code Council, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the Borough of Middleburg, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for the control of building and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Building Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made part hereof as if fully set out in this Part, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 5-102 of this Part.

Ordinance No. 127 of the Code of the Borough of Middleburg and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

Nothing in this Part or in the Building Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding impending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed as cited in § 5-103 of this Part, nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this Part.

The Secretary of the Borough of Middleburg shall certify to the adoption of this Part; and this Part shall become effective upon adoption pursuant to law.
