A. 
The Commission shall:
1. 
Hold meetings as determined necessary by the Chairperson;
2. 
Keep minutes of its meetings and records of its transactions. These records shall be public records;
3. 
Conduct its meetings in an orderly manner;
4. 
Hold all meetings open to the public and provide an opportunity for public comment at the meeting;
5. 
Execute only those actions approved by the Board of Alderpersons;
6. 
Adopt rules and establish procedures to aid any of its functions; and
7. 
Promote and encourage the development and public awareness of and interest in the history of Jefferson County, Missouri.
