A.
There
is hereby adopted for the regulation and government of all departments
of the City of Woodson Terrace, with the exception of the Police Department
which is covered under the Police Manual, the "Employee Manual" of
the City of Woodson Terrace which is on file in the City offices.
B.
The rules
and regulations set forth in such manual shall become effective on
the adoption of this Section and the Mayor shall affix his/her signature
to the original of such manual and it shall be attested by the City
Clerk and shall bear the date of adoption, the ordinance number and
shall be in bound form.
C.
The City
Clerk shall make copies of such manual available to all employees
of the City.
D.
All employees
of the City shall conform to the rules, regulations, operations and
procedures set forth in such manual in the discharge of their duties
as herein outlined, and further shall have the rights, responsibilities
and duties and be entitled to receive the compensation for their services
in accordance with the schedules set forth therein.
E.
The provisions
of the "Employee Manual" may be amended, supplemented, deleted or
changed from time to time by ordinance of the Board of Aldermen, and
such changes, supplements, deletions and amendments shall be permanently
affixed to the original "Employee Manual" and shall bear the ordinance
number, date of adoption and shall be attested by the City Clerk.
