A. 
Definition. A "weapon" is defined as any instrumentality from which or within which a shot, bullet, pellet, arrow, or bolt may be discharged or expelled, regardless of whether the propelling is provided by air, spring, or other similar mechanical device or by gun powder.
B. 
Discharge Prohibited. No person other than a police officer or other law enforcement officer in the performance of an official duty, may discharge or fire any weapon within the Village. No person shall in the territory adjacent to the Village discharge any firearm in such a manner that the discharge shall enter or fall within the Village.

No person shall throw or shoot any object, arrow, stone, snowball other missile or projectile, by hand or by any other means at any person or at, in, or into any building, street, sidewalk, alley, highway, park, playground or other public place within the Village.
