[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of
Greenville 1-9-1968 by Ord. No. 916 (Ch. 1, Part 2B, of the 2006 Code
of Ordinances.) Amendments noted where applicable.]
Hereafter, an independent auditor for the Borough shall be appointed
annually by resolution of Council before the close of the Borough's
fiscal year.
The independent auditor hereafter appointed by any annual resolution
shall make an independent examination of the accounting records of
the Borough for the fiscal year so appointed and shall perform the
other duties and exercise the powers conferred upon the office of
independent auditor by the Borough Code, 8 Pa.C.S.A. § 1059.11
et seq.
The compensation of the independent auditor shall be determined
by Council and paid out of the Borough funds.
