A.
It shall be unlawful to house or keep work animals or animals normally raised for human consumption, such as horses, mules, goats, steers, cows, and chickens (except as set out in Article IV, Keeping Of Chickens, in this Chapter), within the City limits. It shall be further unlawful to raise dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles or birds, when raised for commercial purposes or in excess of the number of animals set out in Subsection (B) or to maintain a breeding place for the same, within the City limits.
B.
This Section shall prohibit the keeping of a total of more than three (3) animals for use as domestic pets, whether dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles or other animals. Violation of this Section shall be punishable upon conviction as provided in Section 100.220 of this Code. Each day violated shall become a separate offense.
