For workmen's compensation purposes only, active, registered,
and recruitment members of the volunteer fire companies and departments
of the Township are authorized to engage in activities relating to
the functions of fire departments and companies, which activities
shall include, in addition to those otherwise authorized, but shall
not be limited to the following: life and property protection and
preservation activities; training; meetings; fund-raisings; morale
maintenance; recruitment; exhibiting personnel and equipment; fire
and accident prevention; inspections; and maintenance of plant and
equipment. The aforesaid activities may take place within or without
the boundaries of Millcreek Township.
