A Park and Recreation Board is hereby created and established for the Township of Manor, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, pursuant to the provisions of Article XIX, Section 1902 of the Act of May 1, 1933, P.L. 103, known as the Second Class Township Code, as amended and supplemented.[1]

The Park and Recreation Board shall be comprised of seven members, who shall be appointed by the Supervisors of Manor Township.

The members shall be appointed for a term of office of five years, except that the terms of office of the original members shall be fixed at one year, two years, three years, four years and five years, respectively, to be established on a series of overlapping terms, with one term expiring each year.
The Park and Recreation Board shall elect one of its members Chairman and one as secretary and select all other necessary officers to serve for a period of one year. The Board shall meet at such times as it may determine.
The Park and Recreation Board shall possess all the powers conferred upon it and be subject to all the responsibilities and duties imposed upon it as set forth in said Article XIX of the Second Class Township Code, the Act of May 1, 1933, P.L. 103, as amended and supplemented.[1]
