As authorized by and in accordance with Section 355.010 of this Title, it shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to stop, stand or park said motor vehicle at any one time or instance or location, as designated herein, except when necessary to avoid a conflict with the directions of a Police Officer or traffic control sign or signal.

A. 
Through Traffic Prohibited. Barricades shall be erected on the following streets to prevent through traffic and it shall be unlawful for any person to circumvent the barricade by driving around same or over same.
Gilrose Avenue
1. 
South of the present site of the permanent barricade on Gilrose Avenue between Delport Avenue and Midland Avenue.
2. 
The Director of Public Works is hereby directed to erect appropriate "No Through Traffic" signs at Midland and Gilrose Avenues and/or Delport Avenue and Gilrose Avenue.
3. 
Any person violating this barricade provision on Gilrose Avenue shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 100.220 of this Code.
B. 
Parking Prohibited Near Barricades, Street Easements And Rights-Of-Way.
1. 
Parking prohibited in certain areas.
a. 
Parking is hereby prohibited along the street, easement or right-of-way between the property addresses as listed along, next to or near the barricades between the addresses:

The term "Bike Path", as used in this Subsection, is also known as Wolter Avenue, a dedicated street in the City.
c. 
The above prohibitions on parking shall not apply to vehicles parked parallel with the curb within six (6) inches of the curb.
2. 
Ice and snow accumulations. Parking is prohibited along the street, easement or right-of-way between property addresses as listed in Subsection (A) of this Section, next to or near the barricades and within twenty (20) feet of the barricades along the curb line when there is ice or the accumulation of more than one (1) inch of snow, in order to provide access for emergency vehicles.

A. 
Fire Lanes Established — Parking Prohibited. The following fire lanes are hereby established and declared no parking zones and the parking, stopping or standing of any motor vehicle, trailer or wagon is prohibited:
1. 
North and South Pointe Apartments:
a. 
East driveway to the North and South Pointe Apartments beginning at the curb line of the said east driveway and Eads Avenue and continuing northwardly to a point one hundred twenty (120) feet from the place of beginning.
b. 
West driveway to the North and South Pointe Apartments beginning at the curb line of the said west driveway and North and South Road and continuing eastwardly to a point one hundred twenty (120) feet from the place of beginning.
2. 
Chadwick Apartments. The parking lot of the Chadwick Apartments located at 8310-8314 Midland. The fire lane shall be twenty-five (25) feet in width and shall commence at the curb line of Midland Avenue at a point one hundred thirty (130) feet west of the intersection lines of Midland Avenue and North and South Road and shall continue southwardly a distance of seventy-five (75) feet to the curb line of Home Avenue.
B. 
Signs.
1. 
The owners of the property where the fire lanes and no parking zones are established, as set forth in Subsection (A) of this Section, shall provide the space and shall install and maintain signs prohibiting parking, stopping or standing in such locations as directed by the Fire Chief of the district.
2. 
The fire district shall provide the necessary signs.
C. 
Marking Of Zones. The owners of the property where the fire lanes and no parking zones are established, as set forth in Subsection (A) of this Section, shall provide the space and shall paint and maintain marks or lines upon the curbs and surface of the areas as directed by the Fire Chief of the district or by the Director of Public Works of the City.
