There is hereby established the offices of Fire
Department Surgeon and Assistant Fire Department Surgeon.
The Fire Department Surgeon and the Assistant
Fire Department Surgeon shall perform such duties as the Board of
Fire Commissioners[1] shall prescribe and such duties as may be required by
law.
Compensation for the Fire Department Surgeon
shall be established by the City Council according to law.
The Assistant Fire Department Surgeon shall
serve without compensation, payment of fees or other emoluments.
