The Bureau of Police shall be under the supervision and direction of a Chief of Police who shall be appointed by the Mayor.
Within the Bureau of Police there shall be established such other divisions and offices as may from time to time be created by ordinance or designated by the Mayor to perform particular functions.

A. 
Whenever a police officer acts to serve or to execute any criminal process or processes issued for a violation of a City ordinance, the City shall charge fees and costs for undertaking that action in the same manner as an authorized constable working in the City would charge for similar services, except that the fees and costs collected for a police officer's services shall be paid to the City Treasurer.
B. 
The fees and costs to be charged by the City for the service or execution of criminal process for a violation of a City ordinance by a police officer shall be as set forth in the Appendix to the Codified Ordinances of the City of Harrisburg, or as otherwise provided by law.
