[HISTORY: Adopted by the Council of the Borough of Sharon Hill 10-2-1947 by Ord. No. 711 (Ch. 4 of the 1972 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
The boundary or dividing line between the Borough of Folcroft and the Borough of Sharon Hill, which now is described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Chester Pike 221 feet, more or less, east from the center line of Folcroft Avenue; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 1,198 feet, more or less, to a point; thence southwest 309 feet, more or less, to the center line of Folcroft Avenue, crossing the east side of said Folcroft Avenue (as laid out 50 feet wide) at a distance of 295.31 feet north 27 degrees, 32 minutes west from the northerly right-of-way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad,
shall be changed so that the said boundary line shall hereafter be described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Chester Pike, as laid out 125 feet wide, said point being the intersection of the said center line with the center line of Burton Lane West as extended northwestwardly to its intersection with the center line of Chester Pike; thence along the center line of Burton Lane West south 30 degrees 06 minutes east, 491.40 feet to a point of curvature; thence still along the center line of Burton Lane West by the arc of a circle whose radius is 75 feet in a counterclockwise direction, an arc distance of 82.39 feet to a point in the center line of Burton Lane South; thence by the same north 87 degrees east 22.13 feet to a point; thence leaving Burton Lane South and by a line dividing Lot No. 16 from Lot No. 17 south 3 degrees east 135 feet more or less to the center line of Hermesprota Run; thence downstream along the center line of said run in an easterly direction a distance of 95 feet, more or less, to a common corner of Lots No. 100 and No. 99; thence along the line dividing Lot No. 100 from Lot No. 99 south 2 degrees west 136 feet, more or less, to a point, the intersection of the extension of the line dividing Lots No. 100 and No. 99 with the center line of Sharon Park Drive extended; thence along the center line of Sharon Park Drive south 30 degrees 06 minutes east 351.50 feet, more or less, to a point, the intersection of the center line of Sharon Park Drive with the extension of the line dividing Lot No. 67 from Lot No. 68; thence leaving Sharon Park Drive and along the line dividing Lot No. 67 and Lot No. 68 south 59 degrees 54 minutes west 140 feet to a point; thence north 30 degrees 06 minutes west 3 feet to a common corner of Lot No. 55 and Lot No. 56; thence along the line dividing Lot No. 55 from Lot No. 56 south 59 degrees 54 minutes west 140 feet to the center line of Folcroft Avenue; thence by the same south 30 degrees 06 minutes east 16 feet, more or less, to the original corner of Sharon Hill and Folcroft Boroughs.
If the Borough of Folcroft shall adopt a similar ordinance, then a plot showing such dividing line and the changes in the same, together with certified copies of this chapter, shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of Quarter Session of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, within 30 days after the approval of the last of the two ordinances of the respective boroughs relating to this matter.
The President of Council, the Borough Secretary and the Burgess be and they are hereby authorized and directed to certify the aforesaid plot, together with a copy of this chapter.
