A. 
When a customer has been overcharged as a result of incorrect reading of the meter, incorrect application of the rate schedule or classification, incorrect connection of the meter or any other reason, the amount of the overcharge shall be adjusted, refunded or credited to the customer.
B. 
Residential customers can be credited a maximum of $500.
C. 
Nonresidential customers can be credited a maximum of six months of billing.
D. 
When a customer has been undercharged as a result of an incorrect reading of the meter, incorrect connection of the meter, or any other reason, the amount of the undercharge will be billed to the customer.
E. 
The customer will be allowed to arrange payment for the undercharge equal to the same length of time the error occurred.
