Pursuant to the power granted to the Town Board by §§ 187 and 188 of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York, the conduct of games of chance by authorized organizations within the territorial limits of the Town of North Collins is hereby authorized. The conduct of these games of chance shall be subject to the provisions of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and the provisions set forth by the New York State Racing and Wagering Board.
Pursuant to §§ 82 and 90 of the Town Law of the State of New York, within 10 days of the date of this chapter, the Town Clerk shall post and publish a notice which shall set forth the date of the adoption of the chapter, shall contain an abstract concisely setting forth the purpose and effect thereof and shall specify that this chapter was adopted subject to a permissive referendum and shall publish such notice in the Gowanda News and Observer, a newspaper published in Erie County, New York, having general circulation in the Town of North Collins, and in addition thereto, the Town Clerk shall post a copy of such notice within 10 days after the date of the adoption or cause to be posted a copy of such notice on the signboard of the Town of North Collins.[1]

Pursuant to § 195 of the General Municipal Law, games of chance may be licensed and conducted in the Town of North Collins on the first day of the week, commonly known as "Sunday," between the hours of 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight only, except on Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

Pursuant to Subdivision 2 of § 194 of the General Municipal Law, the Sheriff of Erie County is hereby designated chief law enforcement officer of games of chance in the Town of North Collins.
