There is hereby created, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.10,
the position or office of Chief Financial Officer.

The Chief Financial Officer shall be appointed from among such
persons as are qualified pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1 et seq.
The Chief Financial Officer shall receive a salary as provided
by the Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Somerdale.[1]
The Chief Financial Officer shall have such powers and duties
as are otherwise required by the laws of the State of New Jersey for
such office, including, but not by way of limitation, P.L. 1988, c.
110, N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1 et seq. and, N.J.S.A. 52:27BB-26 et seq.
