A.
There is hereby established an advisory board to be known as the
"Community Projects Board." The Board shall have no legislative or
executive authority and shall be advisory only. The Board shall not
have any authority to appropriate funds and shall not have authority
to take any official action on behalf of the City.
B.
The members of the Board shall be appointed by Mayor upon approval
of the Board of Aldermen.
C.
The Board shall:
1.
Consider projects for the betterment of the Edmundson community;
2.
Engage residents with regard to proposed projects;
3.
Make recommendations to the Board of Aldermen;
4.
Work to plan and organize projects upon approval by the Board
of Aldermen including the recruitment of needed volunteers; and
5.
Perform such other functions as requested by the Board of Aldermen.
