[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Vinland as §§ 2-1-3, 2-1-4 and 2-1-6, of the 2004 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The polling place serving all wards in the Town of Vinland shall be the Town of Vinland Town Hall.
A. 
Poll hours. The voting polls in the Town of Vinland, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, shall be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for all elections.
B. 
Number of election officials.
(1) 
The Town Clerk shall be authorized to employ election officials (poll workers and tabulators) for each election sufficient to conduct said election effectively; the minimum number of election officials necessary at any time for any one election being three. It is further authorized that two sets of election officials may be used at different times at any one election, with the total number of election officials working at one time to be an odd number.
(2) 
The Town Clerk shall have the power to limit or reduce the number of election officials. The Town Clerk shall determine in advance of each election whether the number of election officials for such election should be reduced from the number prescribed by the Wisconsin Statutes, and if such a reduction is so determined, the Town Clerk shall further redistribute duties among the remaining officials.
(3) 
There shall be three inspectors at each polling place at each election. When the Town Clerk determines that it is reasonable and proper to do so, he/she may increase the number of inspectors at a polling place to no more than seven.
C. 
Tabulators. The Town Clerk may deem necessary from time to time to select and employ tabulators for certain elections due to high projected voter turnout. Tabulators shall assist and be under the direction of the election officials after the close of polls. The Town Clerk shall select and employ tabulators, if needed, for any election.

Wards designated.

(1) 
Ward 1A is Supervisory District No. 30 in the Town of Vinland with a population of 872, with its north border of Breezewood Lane, its south border of Brooks Road, its east border of properties on the west side of State Road 76, its west border is the Town line. Less all that part of the Town of Vinland that lies southwest of the center line of County Road S.
(2) 
Ward 1B is Supervisory District No. 30 in the Town of Vinland with a population of 22, all that part of the Town of Vinland that lies southwest of the center line of County Road S, its south border of Brooks Road and its west border is the Town Line.
(3) 
Ward 2 is Supervisory District No. 30 in the Town of Vinland with a population of 871, with its north border of Breezewood Lane east of State Road 76, its south border is Indian Point Road, its east border is Lake Winnebago, its west border of properties on the east side of State Road 76.
B. 
Wards combined for voting purposes. Wards which were created as set forth above are combined for voting purposes so as to share the common polling place indicated, and such combined wards shall use a common voting machine, and separate returns shall not be maintained for the combined wards at an election, except where separate ballots are required under §§ 5.58 to 5.64, Wis. Stats., and separate ballots or voting machines shall be maintained for any electors of one or more of the combined wards who are ineligible to vote for any office or referendum for which electors in the combined wards may vote.
