A committee to be known as the "Montville Township Dog Park
Advisory Committee" is hereby established for the purpose of monitoring,
maintaining and improving the Montville Township Dog Park.
A.Â
The Committee shall consist of the following:
(1)Â
Five elective officers: Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Corresponding
Secretary, Recording Secretary and Treasurer.
(2)Â
Four members.
(3)Â
A minimum of six of the nine total officers and members of the Committee
shall be residents of the Township of Montville.
(4)Â
One nonvoting liaison from the Montville Township Administration.
(5)Â
One nonvoting liaison from the Montville Township Health Department.
(6)Â
One nonvoting liaison from the Montville Township Committee.
B.Â
All officers, members and liaisons shall serve without compensation
for a term of one year. All members shall be appointed by the Township
Committee and officers shall be elected by the Dog Park Advisory Committee
in accordance with its bylaws.
The Montville Township Dog Park Advisory Committee shall be
operated in coordination with and under the supervision of the Montville
Township Department of Health and the Township Administrator. Enforcement
of all Dog Park Rules and Regulations shall be the responsibility
of the Township Administration and Department of Health, and not the
Montville Township Dog Park Advisory Committee.
