The Township Commissioners or any officer or employee designated
thereby are hereby authorized to designate and assign house numbers
for dwellings and structures situated in the Township of Leet. Upon
the formal designation of a house number, each property owner shall
be advised in writing as to the said designation.

Each property owner within the Township shall cause to be erected,
visible in either direction from the roadway serving said property,
a sign of letters or numbers or a combination of letters and numbers
at least four inches in height with a minimum stroke width of 1/2
inch on a contrasting background indicating the mailing address of
said property, identifying said property.

Each sign shall be clearly visible in adverse weather conditions
and at night by light produced by low beam headlights.

This Part shall become effective immediately and each property
owner shall have 30 days to comply with the terms hereof after assignment
of a house number.

Any properties not numbered at this time shall be numbered upon
development with the approval of the Planning Commission.

The Township Commissioners or any officer or employee designated
thereby for the purpose is hereby authorized to given written notice,
by personal service or by United States mail, to the owner or any
premises whereupon the street number at the premises is not posted
in violation of the provisions of this Part, directing and requiring
such owner to post a street number so as to conform to the requirements
of this Part within 15 days after issuance of such notice. In case
any owner shall neglect, fail or refuse to comply with such notice
within the period of time stated herein, the Township authorities
may post a street number on the premises and collect the cost thereof,
together with any additional penalty authorized by law, from such
owner in the manner provided by law.
