A.Â
Title. This chapter shall be known as the "Fence Law of the Town
of Milo," hereinafter referred to as "this chapter."
B.Â
Scope. This chapter shall apply to all fences erected or placed within
the Town of Milo, New York.
C.Â
Purpose. The purpose of this chapter is to regulate the materials,
location, height, and maintenance of fences in order to prevent the
creation of nuisances and preserve the public peace, good order and
safety.
D.Â
Authority. This chapter is adopted pursuant to the authority granted
to the Town of Milo, New York in § 10 of the Municipal Home
Rule Law of the State of New York.
