[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Borough Council of the
Borough of Merchantsville 3-9-2020 by Ord. No. 20-03. Amendments noted where

The Green Team be and hereby is established in and for the Borough
of Merchantville.
A.
The Green Team will continue to be active in the community and shall
advance sustainable practices and action included in the Sustainable
Jersey municipal certification program;
B.
The Green Team shall be composed of individuals who have demonstrated
an interest in advancing the efforts of the Borough of Merchantville
to pursue certification through the Sustainable Jersey municipal certification
program;
C.
The role of the Green Team shall be to coordinate the sustainability
activities of the community; and
D.
The membership of the Green Team, as appointed by the Mayor with
the advice and consent of Borough Council, will include at least one
representative from Merchantville Borough Council, one representative
from Incredible Edible Merchantville, one representative from the
Merchantville Garden Club, and one representative from Merchantville
Shade Tree Commission.
All ordinances contrary to the provisions of this chapter are
hereby repealed to the extent that they are inconsistent herewith,
and that this chapter shall take effect upon passage and publication
according to law.
