Land and buildings in each of the following classified districts
may be used for any of the specified uses shown on the schedule as
permitted in each district. No land shall hereafter be used and no
building or structure shall hereafter be erected, altered, converted,
designed, arranged or used for other than those uses specifically

Notwithstanding any other provision of the Zoning Code, no sexually
oriented business, as defined in the Local Government Code, shall
be established or maintained within one thousand (1,000) feet of any
school, regular place of religious worship, or residence. Measurements
shall be made in a straight line from the nearest boundary of the
property used for school, regular place of religious worship, or residence
to the nearest part of the building in which such sexually oriented
business is conducted.

Except as hereinafter provided, no building or structure or
part thereof shall be erected, altered or converted for any use permitted
in the district in which it is located unless it is in conformity
with all the minimum regulations specified for that zoning district.
