Body-Worn Camera/Digital Evidence in and for the Borough
of Paramus is hereby created, subject to the provisions of this article.
Body-Worn Camera/Digital Evidence shall be appointed by the
Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council.
Body-Worn Camera/Digital Evidence shall receive such compensation
as shall be fixed, from time to time, by the general salary ordinance
of the Borough of Paramus.
This position oversees the maintenance and administration of
the Police Department's body-worn cameras. This position is responsible
for researching and retrieving information and providing copies of
videos for court purposes, agency requests, and state and federal
record requests. This position has a wide variety of recordkeeping,
clerical tasks and identification functions in the Police Department,
extensive data entry and retrieval, as well as secretarial tasks and
requires a high level of responsibility.
