It shall be unlawful and illegal for any person to discharge fireworks
within the limits of the Village.
Nothing herein contained shall prohibit the Village Board of Trustees
from granting a permit upon proper application of an authorized club or civic
organization for permission to publicly discharge fireworks under the direct
supervision of an expert, provided that such permittees fully comply with
the applicable provisions of the Penal Law of the state.
In addition to any penalties provided under the Penal Law of the State
of New York, any violation of this chapter shall be punishable, upon conviction,
by a fine not exceeding $250 or imprisonment not exceeding 15 days, or both
such fine and imprisonment, for each offense.
