The handling, storage or use of any poisonous insecticide or exterminator in any place where food or drink is served, processed, sold, kept or offered for sale is prohibited unless the container is properly labeled or unless a clearly legible sign bearing information identical to the information required on the label of the container is posted conspicuously in every room where such insecticide or exterminator is in use.
No person shall possess, distribute, sell or offer for sale or deliver or transport other than in interstate traffic, sodium fluoroacetate also known as compound 1080 or any solution or preparation made therefrom unless he first obtains a special permit therefor from the Health Officer.
No person shall use any fumigant emitting or capable of emitting cyanogen gas within any building or structure unless he first obtains a special permit therefor from the Health Officer, and provided that the use of the fumigant is otherwise undertaken in accordance with any conditions specified in the special permit.
A separate application shall be made and a separate permit shall be required for each use of sodium fluoroacetate or cyanogen gas. Such permit shall be issued only to particular individual for a specific use or purpose only on a specified date under conditions as may be stated thereon. Such permit shall be valid only for the specified individual, use or purpose and date. The issuance of such permit shall be at the discretion of the Health Officer who shall give due consideration to the qualifications and fitness of the applicant, the need for the use of the specified material and the conditions under which such material is proposed to be used, possessed, delivered or transported. Any departure from the conditions specified in the permit shall be considered a violation of this chapter.
The fee for a special permit for sodium fluoroacetate or cyanogen gas as specified in this chapter shall be $3.

Fees for various clinic services will be the actual cost of the program rounded up to the next whole dollar.

This chapter shall be enforced by the Division of Health of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills.
