The Board of Trustees of the Village of Pittsford hereby endorses the protection of the environment required by the State of New York as codified in Article 8 of the New York State Environmental Conservation Law and the Regulations adopted in furtherance of that goal which are currently enacted as Part 617 of Title 6 of NYCRR.
No decision to carry out or approve an action involving the governing body or any board, officer or employee of the Village shall be made by such governing body, board, officer or employee of the Village until there has been full compliance with all of the requirements of Article 8 of the New York State Environmental Conservation Law, any amendments to such law, 6 NYCRR Part 617, and any additional regulations adopted by the Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Conservation.
