The Fire Department of the village, or any or more fire companies thereof,
is hereby authorized and permitted to go to the aid of another city, village,
town or fire district outside of the village limits to assist in extinguishing
fire or to give assistance in other public disasters or emergencies.
The Fire Chief is empowered to direct that aid be extended to other
communities as herein provided. In the absence or disability of the Chief,
the First Assistant Chief, and, in the absence or disability of both the Chief
and the First Assistant Chief, the Second Assistant Chief, shall have the
power to direct that such aid be extended.
