It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, firms or corporations, etc., to use the streets or highways of the Borough for a procession or parade of any kind or any kind of meeting or assemblage without first obtaining a permit to do so. The fee for such permit shall be fixed from time to time by resolution of Council, and no permit shall be issued until the required fee shall have been paid.[1]

Necessary permits for activities, events, occurrences, parking, etc., in the Borough of Brentwood shall hereafter be issued only by the Zoning Officer and/or Code Enforcement Officer of the Borough of Brentwood, after approval by the Mayor of the Borough of Brentwood. For example, before issuing a permit for parking on a street of the Borough of Brentwood, the Zoning Officer and/or Code Enforcement Officer shall obtain approval of the Mayor of the Borough of Brentwood for the issuance of such permit.

Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution or, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
