[HISTORY: Adopted by the City Council of
the City of Haverhill 8-10-2004 by Doc. 57-B (Ch. 131
of the 1980 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
There is hereby established a Municipal Composting
Program, hereinafter called the "Program," which shall provide for
the disposal of brush, grass and leaves. The Program shall be operated
by the Highway Department at a location and at hours to be designated
by the Superintendent of Highways.
A.
Fees for the disposal of brush, grass and leaves shall
be as follows:

(1)
Individual residents: $45 annually (with sticker)
or $9 per day; $10 annually for a second sticker within the same household;
all with proof of residency.
(2)
Senior residents (age 65 or older): $30 annually (with
sticker) or $9 per day; $10 annually for a second sticker within the
same household; all with proof of residency.
(3)
Commercial and nonresident: $44 per cubic yard.
B.
Fees for the purchase of compost shall be as follows:
