Editor's Note: This resolution replaced the provisions of the former
cable television franchise adopted 1-2-1967.
The exclusive or nonexclusive right and privilege to construct, maintain
and operate the necessary poles, lines, cables, wiring and other apparatus
for the purpose of receiving, amplifying and distributing cable television
and radio signals to the City of Peekskill and the inhabitants thereof in,
upon, over and under the streets, roads and public places of the City of Peekskill
shall be provided for and may be granted to any duly organized and licensed
cable television provider by franchise agreement or franchise agreement renewal
in accordance with all federal, state, county and local laws, rules, regulations
and ordinances on terms and provisions approved by the City Manager and the
Corporation Counsel.
