Compilation of Bylaws]
Every owner of land within the limits of the Town, upon which is located
an abandoned well or well in use, shall forthwith either provide a covering
for such well capable of sustaining a weight of three hundred (300) pounds
or shall fill the same to the level of the ground.
The penalty for violation of this article shall be a fine of not less
than one hundred dollars ($100.) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.).
