Pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law and
Chapter 495 of the Laws of 1978,[1] Housing Authority guards of the Mount Vernon Municipal Housing Authority are hereby authorized to issue appearance tickets for violations of Chapter 178, Article I, as amended, of the Code of the City of Mount Vernon, entitled "Unnecessary Noise," on Mount Vernon Municipal Housing Authority property.
