The Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to require utilities
or other companies operating within the Village of Ridgewood to indemnify
the Village and to provide coverage for worker's compensation, employer's
liability, comprehensive general liability, including completed operations,
contractual liability and motor vehicle liability when police details are
utilized for traffic controls or other safety services in behalf of utilities
or other companies.
The Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to formulate and
require execution of an agreement between the Village of Ridgewood and the
utilities or other companies to fulfill the policy hereby established by the
Council of the Village of Ridgewood.
