GENERAL REFERENCES
Poolrooms and billiard rooms — See Ch. 193.
No person shall deal, play or engage in faro, roulette or other games of chance, either as banker, player, dealer or otherwise, for the purpose of gaming.

Whenever any person shall have obtained from the Borough of Rockaway pursuant to Chapter 13 of the Administrative Code of the State of New Jersey a license for either bingo or raffles and shall desire to conduct such activities in accordance with such law, no bingo game or raffle shall be started, notwithstanding said license, after the hour of 10:30 p.m. nor before the hour of 12:00 noon. Licenses may be issued for Sunday by the Mayor and Council pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-31. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to enlarge or restrict any right of a person holding a license as aforementioned to conduct such activity, except for the hours of operation for said activity as provided herein.

The Borough Clerk is hereby authorized to approve and grant raffle and bingo licenses within the Borough of Rockaway.
