The Mayor and Council shall adopt by resolution a street map showing the names of the streets within the Borough, and the Borough Clerk shall revise said map or cause the same to be revised as amendments, changes or additions may be made from time to time by resolution.
A. 
The official name of every street within the Borough shall be established by a written resolution duly adopted by the Council.
B. 
The name of any new street and the changing of the name of any existing street shall also be established and amended by a written resolution duly adopted by the Council.
A. 
There shall be erected at the beginning and terminus of each street and at the intersecting corner with another street a sign showing the name of the street.
B. 
Such signs shall conform to the size and material established from time to time by resolution, or, if no resolution has been adopted establishing specifications, such signs may be such as is in common usage.
C. 
At a four-corner intersection, there need be only two name signs, which shall be erected on diagonally opposing corners.
D. 
At a T-intersection, only one such sign shall be erected.
E. 
In the event that a street is a dead-end street, no sign need be erected at its terminus or dead end.
A. 
Where a new street is created in a subdivision, the developer of the subdivision shall be required, at his sole cost and expense, to install street signs showing the names officially established by the Council in conformity with the requirements of this article and such guideposts for the convenience of travelers as may be required by the Land Use Board or the Council.

B. 
Guideposts shall be erected by the Borough or the developer of a subdivision at such points along the streets within the Borough as may be determined from time to time by resolution.
C. 
Guideposts shall be of the size and material as may be established by resolution of the Council or as is in common usage.
