Pursuant to the provisions of § 10, Subdivision 1(d)(3), of
the Municipal Home Rule Law, as amended, any contract to be let by the Town
of Greenburgh, other than Highway Law contracts, but pursuant to applicable
provisions of the Town Law, and except with relation to a contract pertaining
to a special or improvement district or an improvement area, the bid price
of which contract is $15,000 or less, in the discretion of the Town Board,
may be awarded without the requirements for the successful bidder to provide
a bid bond or a performance and payment bond thereunder.
