In interpreting and applying the provisions
of this chapter, the following definitions prevail:
Any structure or enclosure to which water is supplied, whether
occupied or vacant.
All places to which water is supplied, whether occupied or
vacant.
The person, group or department of the Town, appointed or
created by the Evans Town Board, as well as the person, group, department
or entity with which the Town may from time to time contract, or which
the Town may employ, having charge of the furnishing of water, within
the Town, either within or without any water district. The Town Board
may from time to time, by resolution or otherwise, specify the person,
persons, department or departments to act as enforcement office or
officers on behalf of said Water Department and specify in such resolution
or resolutions the duties thereof, including, without limitation,
the issuance of any and all notices of violation and/or defects, citations
or accusatory instruments.
