Article I Exhaust Brakes

§ 67-1 Use prohibited.

Engine exhaust brakes are now prohibited in the incorporated limits of Middletown.

§ 67-2 Request for signs.

The Town Manager is authorized and directed to contact the Delaware Department of Transportation to have the appropriate signage installed on Town roads consistent with the provisions of this article.

§ 67-3 Violations and penalties.

Any person, firm, association or corporation who uses engine exhaust brakes or allows engine exhaust brakes to be used in violation of this article shall be fined an amount not less than $25 nor more than $100.
