It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge a firearm within the corporate limits of the Town of Middletown within 100 yards of any building or dwelling.
The provisions of this article shall not apply to law enforcement officers performing in the line of duty, nor to individuals utilizing firearms in self defense.
Anyone convicted of violating the provisions of this article shall be fined not more than $25.[1]

Possession of firearms in all Town of Middletown municipal buildings, including the Middletown Police Department, is hereby prohibited. The only authorized exceptions to this policy are those exceptions set forth in 22 Del. C. § 111(b)(1) through (8).
The Town shall post signs as required by 22 Del. C. § 111(b).
The Town hereby adopts the definition of "municipal building" as set forth in 22 Del.C. § 111(c).
The penalty for any violation of this article shall be a fine of $100.
