GENERAL REFERENCES
General penalty — See Ch. 1, § 1-8.

Any person who shall kindle or authorize another to kindle a fire in the open air within the limits of the Town without first obtaining from the Chief of the Fire Department, or the Chief's deputy, permission stating when and where such fire may be kindled shall be punished as provided in § 1-8. Nothing herein shall prohibit the kindling of a fire without such permit in any fireplace, container or cooking apparatus made of noncombustible material.
