The Town voted to establish a special Law Enforcement
Trust Fund.
This fund shall receive proceeds from criminal
investigations and shall be expended to defray the costs of protracted
investigations, to provide adequate technical equipment or expertise,
to provide matching funds to obtain federal grants or have such other
law enforcement purposes as the Chief of Police shall deem appropriate.
This fund shall be established pursuant to MGL
c. 94C, § 47.
