For the purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the
meanings respectively ascribed to them:
To be in or upon and in physical control of a snowmobile.
Any motorized vehicle designed or adapted for travel primarily on
snow or ice, steered by wheels, skis or runners, including such vehicles commonly
referred to as "all-terrain vehicles."
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile upon any
highway or street, sidewalk or other public property, or private property
that is generally open to public use, unless said operation is otherwise permitted
by other provisions of this chapter.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile upon private
property, easements or utility corridors, without the express written authorization
of the owner thereof.[1]
