The City of Lancaster hereby becomes subject to the provisions of the Act of June 26, 1931 (P.L. 1379), as last amended by Act No. 263, adopted November 24, 1967,[1] covering assessments in counties of the third class relating to objects, property and persons subject to and exempt from taxation in the city for city and school purposes, subject to the provisions of § 13-2.

The City of Lancaster hereby adopts a predetermined ratio of 100% of the value of real property in the city, as referred to in Section 19 of the aforesaid Act, as amended by Act No. 263, approved November 24, 1967,[1] and orders this ratio to be applied to the market valuations supplied by the County of Lancaster to determine assessed value for tax purposes of the city and the school district of the city.

A copy of this article, when enacted by the Council and approved by the Mayor and duly certified, accompanied by a statement of the vote thereon with the names of the members of the Council voting for and against such article, shall be forwarded by the City Clerk to and filed in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
