There is hereby established in and for the City
of Ventnor City a Municipal Court in accordance with the provisions
of P.L. 1948, c. 264, as amended by P.L. 1948, c. 394,[1] which court shall be known and designated as the "Municipal
Court of Ventnor City."

Said Municipal Court shall be presided over
by a Municipal Judge, who shall be appointed to said office by the
Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Board of Commissioners,
for a term of three years from the date of his appointment and until
his successor is appointed and qualified.

Said Judge shall receive an annual salary as
established by City salary ordinances.[1]

Said Municipal Court and the Judge thereof shall
exercise jurisdiction in all cases now or hereafter provided for by
law and by the rules of the Supreme Court.[1]
