This chapter is hereby created for the purpose of regulating and establishing fees for City owned, operated and maintained boating ramps not presently covered by local statutes.
The Municipal Ramp shall be closed to all persons from sunset to sunrise, as defined by the National Weather Service.
A. 
The fee schedule for the use of motorized boats and nonmotorized crafts from the Municipal Ramp in the City of Ventnor City during the calendar period of May 15 through September 15 shall be as set forth in Chapter 114, Fee Schedule.

B. 
It shall be a violation of this chapter for any person to utilize the boat ramp to launch or retrieve any motorized boats and nonmotorized crafts without first paying the required fee or during the times the boat ramp is closed.

Boat trailers may be left in the lot adjacent to the Municipal Ramp for the period which said boat or craft is in the water. No trailer shall be permitted in the lot for more than a twelve-hour period. In no instance shall a trailer be left in the lot later than sunset, as defined by the National Weather Service.

Any individual violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $1,000, jail time of up to 90 days, or both, in the discretion of the Municipal Court Judge. In addition to or as a substitute for the previously mentioned fine, the imposition of community service shall be authorized as an additional penalty, which community service shall not exceed 90 days.
