§ 86-1 Adoption of standards.

A. 
There is hereby adopted by the City of Ventnor City, New Jersey, in the manner provided in N.J.A.C. 5:23 for the purpose of governing, rules relating to the construction, alteration, renovation, rehabilitation, maintenance, occupancy and use of buildings and structures using the particular codes and standards as follows:

BOCA National Mechanical Code, 1987.

BOCA National Energy Code, 1987.
(5) 
BOCA National Existing Structure Code, 1987.

National Standard Plumbing Code, 1986.
(8) 
National Electrical Code, 1987.

B. 
Any amendments thereto, save and except such portions as are deleted, modified and amended within the Code of the City of Ventnor City, and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as if set forth at length herein.
C. 
This adoption shall not be construed as an initial adoption of these codes by the City of Ventnor City in that such codes have been in full force and effect in said City since 1963, but, rather, this adoption is for purposes of clarification.
